1. Attendance & Participation Requirements
At Evidence Academics, attendance and engagement are essential for obtaining Continuing Medical Education (CME). To qualify for CME credit, learners must actively participate in training activities throughout course accreditation period.
Non-Eligible Attendance Periods:
The following activities are not counted as part of the required attendance hours:
Registration and administrative processes.
Opening and closing sessions.
Guidance, orientation, and introductory discussions.
General Q&A sessions and non-mandatory communication.
2. Attendance Tracking & Compliance
Evidence Academics employs automated attendance tracking mechanisms to ensure fair monitoring of participation. Learners are required to complete a minimum of 90% of the total instructional hours in all eLearning activities.
Attendance Requirements by Learning Format:
Asynchronous eLearning: Learners must complete at least 90% of the course materials.
Live Virtual Sessions: Attendance must meet 90% of scheduled instructional hours.
Concurrent Virtual Classes: Real-time attendance is calculated similarly to in-person participation.
Blended Learning Programs: Learners must attend at least 90% of total hours, with a minimum 25% engagement in digital learning activities.
3. Virtual Classroom Capacity & Instructor Allocation
To maintain high-quality learning experiences, the maximum number of learners in synchronous virtual classes is 25 trainees per instructor. Adjustments are permitted based on:
Course complexity and subject matter.
Interactive learning methods and student engagement requirements.
Instructor proficiency in delivering online training.
Instructor-to-Trainee Ratio Adjustments:
For 26-50 participants, an additional assistant instructor will support the lead trainer.
For groups exceeding 50 participants, one assistant per 50 learners will be assigned.
In asynchronous programs lasting less than one month, no enrollment restrictions apply.
4. Compliance & Monitoring Procedures
To ensure adherence to NELC attendance policies, Evidence Academics commits to:
Maintaining accurate digital attendance records through its LMS platform.
Implementing automated tracking systems to verify participation.
Periodically providing electronic attendance reports to instructors.
Enforcing instructor-led supervision to ensure engagement compliance.
Informing learners about attendance policies through the platform interface.

This policy is subject to periodic updates based on NELC guidelines, CME accreditation standards, and platform improvements. Learners must review the latest attendance policies to ensure compliance.
